All of my dog sculptures are done on a commission basis, and I like to meet the dog in question so that I can get to know their character and take lots of photographs to get all of the angles that I need to work from.

Every dog is different, so I watch the interaction between the owner and the dog to get an idea of poses that would work. My aim is to create lasting memory of a beloved pet, which is why I like to meet the dog in person. Working solely from photographs does not allow for capturing the unique looks between a dog and his/her owner, which are so very special.
