The name Aquamarine comes from the Latin for seawater and it was said to calm waves and keep sailors safe at sea. The birthstone for March, it was also thought to enhance the happiness of marriages, making it an ideal anniversary gift.

The Elodie earrings come with sterling silver earwires but I can change these to stud fittings or clip-ons upon request.
