Classic and elegant, the Jenny blue range is a timeless collection of jewellery. Featuring both square cut and round stones, the depth and warmth of the Dumortierite used in the Jenny collection is enhanced by delicate cream freshwater oval pearls.
Sometimes mistaken for Sodalite or Lapis Lazuli, the gemstone Dumortierite is much harder and durable than any other similar blue gemstone. It is said that this stone was discovered over a hundred years ago by a French palaeontologist named Dumortier. The blue colouring is due to the presence of manganese, iron and zinc. Dumortierite is said to enhance organisational abilities and self-discipline.
As with all genuine natural gemstones, the colour variations are formed in nature over thousands of years, so will vary from stone to stone. However every effort will be made to provide the closest possible match for your pair of earrings.
